Eric LeGrand was injured during the Rutgers Army game Saturday, and the AP reports today that he is paralyzed from the neck down. It was a North Jersey writer friend, who is a beat writer for the Rutgers University football team. On Saturday, Rutgers defensive tackle Eric LeGrand suffered a severe neck injury and is currently paralyzed from the neck down. Louisville WR Doug Beaumont was taken off the field on a stretcher, he gave two thumbs up while being carted off.

Oregon took over the top spot in the Associated Press poll today despite not even playing this week. This is his individual ballot, not a prediction of what the top 25 will be in the AP or Coaches poll. Yesterday we updated our fantasy football rankings for Week 6. Here are some notes regarding running backs and run defenses heading into this week.
